We will carefully introduce the process of using a specialized trunk bending machine passed down through three generations, to create a more compact trunk at a higher position. Important points unique to trunk bending, such as
the method of securing with copper wire, root protection, and the amount of force applied will be explained practically. You will see advanced techniques aiming for an ideal tree shape, while preserving the dignity of ancient trees with tools and skills handed down since my grandfather’s era.
